Platina Rope (Dyneema Braided Rope)
Made with Dyneema fiber, this braided rope is one of the lightest and strongest ropes on today's market. Dyneema braided rope is only 1/7th the weight of a steel wire rope of the same diameter and same strength, delivering the most reliable performance possible. With features of excellent abrasion resistance and insulation properties, the Dyneema braided rope can be manufactured into different types of ropes and slings for heavy duty applications.
ApplicationsDyneema braided ropes are extensively used as pulling ropes for overhead transmission line construction and rescue ropes for rail cars. 12-strand braided rope with PES sheath is generally used in the construction of transmission lines thanks to its anti-rotation property.
